The Fare Arte, Creativity Studio, was founded in 1991 in the city of Araçatuba, São Paulo, Brazil, where Márcia supported more than 60 students a year, learning about poetics, the creative process and art history, many of whom returned for more courses and sessions in smaller groups. Many of these students are now professionals - visual artists, architects, designers and visual arts teachers. The studio has also travelled to Bairro Demétria, Botucatu, São Paulo, Brazil, then to São Paulo capital and is currently based in Nottingham, England.  Over the years, Márcia has inspired, taught and supported hundreds of people to find their own expression and voice in the visual arts. As she immerses herself in her creative process, Porto continues to encourage others to do the same.
